I've been caught several times in this log laying HC debutants, still though, I think this lad is up against it, last time out was a great run but that was on GS and there are loads of opponents in this.

Few reasons, trip seems too long, seems a tad too high in the ratings and the trainer/jockey combo provides price shrinkage. Should be bigger. Don't see why they put it in this unless it's to get the HC mark down for 12f targets.

Hate when stuff like that happens, I do hope the other two horses are ok along with the jockeys, it looks ominous for Captain John Nixon though Hopefully I'm wrong.

I like this one, consistent enough in running to it's rating, this isn't a clear cut race on the ratings/weights but this one appeals more than the rest.

lto 2nd off 107 at 9/3, 1 and 3/4l beaten by the 110 rated 7/4 fav. Now that isn't strictly perfect as Invisible man was carrying 3lbs less, still, decent stuff

Before that 3rd off 105 at 20/1 to 93 rated 12/1 winner, beaten 2 and 1/2 lengths. Was only 1/2 length behind tthe 2nd placed horse though who was rated 102 and at 7/1 fav.

Form shows a huge preference for soft ground and up to a high mark of 81 here, I'm expecting this one to be lenghts behind the winner (Mango Music hopefully :pac:) and there is every chance there'll be at least two others in between them.

Ah yeah, they're nice when they go to plan. I'll be putting a little more effort into the log from now on, a little summary of how the days selections finished, at the moment it makes a crap enough read.
