Meaty enough price but I can't see the justification for this yoke being 2nd fav. Fav has decent enough credentials and is value at the price (3.5 ish) so I can't lay her.

8.20 Kempton Mabroor 3.05 €5.00

I like the fav here, course and distance winner at Kempton means a lot I think in this compact field, my lay selection is an unknown entity on the AW and the turf form isn't bad, Kempton is right handed too which is a change for it.

8.30 Naas Ted Dolly, €2 to lose €8

Creeping up the weights and quite a few of these have won over a mile, Smullen in great form tonight but can't fancy this one.

Can't fancy this yoke, trip and ground to suit but up 6lbs, all to do to win this. Can't see it being placed either to be honest at the odds ......

Can't fathom how this is fav for this race, rated 74 in a 74 to 85. Last time it ran over CD it was off 66 in a weaker race with loads of runners. One of the others here has to be better than it imo.

-€6.20 for the evening (over 18 markets), am wrecked after it to be honest. Never got the run of successful lays on the trot to actually make a few quid. That was like a sparring match between respectful friends :pac:

Maybe you need to back fewer bigger, look for the shortish fav that is on a three/four-timer, as the handicaper will probably have his measure, the "big name" FTO maiden at evens.

Got stung with the price but I can't see why they are backing this lad, can't see it winning on soft ground. Amir Pasha is my sort of horse to back, trip, ground and current rating all suggest a great run is on the cards.

Hasn't won in ages, defo would back it if it was topweight in a weaker race over this trip.

BEst run of his three so far came on GF ground, worst was his debut on GS, the short price and the soft ground presents a very decent laying opportunity I feel.

On the ratings he is far from ahead of the opposition, best runs to date have been on the firm side of good so in a 10 runner race the price is really short in my book.

This lad wins once every 7.5 races, in an 8 runner handicap that has several potential improvers the 3.45 is plenty short to tempt me.

7f on GF is very much this horses cup of tea but the ratings suggest it is far from a 2/1 shot and the Fallon factor may well not be enough.

On 8f on good to firm I'd be very very tempted to lay this lad so over a furlong longer on soft ground it's a no brainer.

The ground would be the rationale here once again, 4 to be placed but plenty of others to fill those places, the place odds for this lad are very skinny.

The rating and the ground mark this one out for a lay, amazed at the price after his run last time out.
