The Sun (I know, I know) are to claim in tomorrow's paper that Lafferty has played his last game for Rangers after a fall out with McCoist which has seen him banned by the club for 2 weeks.

    lol, they just keep giving

Read it too, no quotes from either McCoist or Lafferty, or anyone from the club for that matter.

I'll believe it when I hear it from the club.

Doesn't get any better for Rangers fans. Sun splashing in morning that Kyle Lafferty suspended by club following altercation with McCoist.
Do rangers have a deal in place with stv?

Graham Spiers ‏ @GrahamSpiers I pity Rangers. Whether it was bigoted songs or tax-scams, for years RFC felt untouchable. We are now witnessing spectacular disintegration

    :) they were the people

    Spiers, still a **** I see.

lubo, how exactly is that proof ?
He's just saying the Sun (of all papers) are running the story, shocking revelation that is.

I was only asking, do rangers and stv have some sort of deal in place with eachother?

Edit: what did Spiers say there that isn't true?

  • Registered Users Posts: 9,839 ✭✭✭Jelle1880

Not that I'm aware of, but Grant Russel does seem to follow a lot of Rangers stuff.

And I never said he was wrong, just that he's a c.unt.

Again, Rangers thread full of trolls.

Keep laughing lads, you're lifes are gonna be hellishly empty when you realise that you actually do hate Rangers more than you care about Celtic.

For someone who has been sent home Lafferty sure seems happy enough at Auchenhowie.

Don't worry, we hate Hearts as well, and they'll still be in the SPL. ;)

Don't see any date there, was that visit yesterday?

    Yep.

    edit:

Seems like the club have confirmed it now.
Don't really know what to think of it, if McCoist really asked lafferty to play he was in the wrong, the guy is still undergoing treatment for a hernia ffs.

There's no truth in that Rangers will have to pay x amount of money to Burnley if Lafferty plays another so many games??

Nope, it was confirmed I'm sure that Lafferty is fully paid up.

It he's rocking the boat now he can gtf.

Why would he be 'rocking the boat'?

  • Registered Users Posts: 9,839 ✭✭✭Jelle1880

I'll await an explanation, but if it's true that McCoist forced Lafferty to cancel an operation for a hernia then I can totally understand if Kyle would be pissed off about that.

Not this **** again. Ok, so there are some fans on either side who define themselves by how they relate to the other side but they are in a small minority so dont go tarring us all with the same brush. Childish in the extreme.

    I wasn't.
The "lads" in this context are those who simply can't resist a good gif image.

Not a fan of the White topped socks.
Other than that, yeah it's a nice top.

  • Registered Users Posts: 9,839 ✭✭✭Jelle1880

I like it, as you can see the 72 squad didn't have the black-rimmed socks either.

yeah i know, i just prefer the black tops.
(Now it just looks like we're trying to wash our knees...;))

  • Registered Users Posts: 9,839 ✭✭✭Jelle1880

Well, after all those years of being up to our knees in stuff they might need a wash ;)

I hope it's available without sponsor though.

Oh, and guess who decided to also put their Tennents logo in small print under the badge :pac:

A whole season with a ridiculously plain shirt that costs £45?!

The spirit of Craig Whyte lives on...

  • Registered Users Posts: 9,839 ✭✭✭Jelle1880

    Ridiculously plain ?

It's old school, much nicer than some big sponsor splashed all over it.

When I first saw it, I thought it must be a training top. Looks like a increase our profit margins for a season by reducing the cost of manufacturing the jersey exercise to me.

The Tennents logo is ugly and will never look good on a football jersey no matter what ya do with it. By law, you can get a jersey without the tennent sponsor on it so that solves whatever they do with that monstrosity of a shirt sponsor.

  • Registered Users Posts: 9,839 ✭✭✭Jelle1880

Nobody's forcing you to buy it.

They pulled the same shirt sponsor stunt on the Celtic jersey. You do realise that we have the same sponsor :P

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,014 ✭✭✭Eirebear

Dempsey's just a bit miffed because he's realised he's been paying out all these years for the same hooped Jersey. ;)

Yeah, seems like Celtic didn't want to be left behind regarding the size of the Tennents logo ;)

Good idea too, if it does come down to a newco the kit is good either way. It is a class kit in fairness.

If I was a Rangers fan I'd be very happy with that new jersey, the retro look off it really works.
