    I'm looking to go to Queens Sep 2012 but i'm not having any joy in finding any info on grants. Anyone any information that can help???

    I'm in the same position as you.... I've seen threads like this on boards before and from what I gather there are no governmental funds for undergraduate students from the republic studying up north. It's only postgraduate students who are funded up north. That said, I could be wrong. Your best bet is to get in touch with your local county council and they'll be able to give the info you need :)

    you'll see here that being enrolled on 3rd level courses in the EU entitle you to a grant.

    theres a link to a document there which outlines what you can get

    from this document, fees abroad for undergrad seem not to be covered
    Where a candidate is pursuing an approved course in another EU Member State no tuition fees shall be payable except in the case of candidates attending post-graduate courses in an institution listed in Appendix I(B).
