    But conquered everything, took actions and succeeded where many failed.

    I've read many posts on that thread from posters registering just to add comments.
    DeVore should be thanking him personally, that thread was almost a membership drive for boards.ie

    And the tags, the tags were one of the best parts, have a read

    Like a smart TV producer the thread was killed at the right time and went out on a high note.

    I don't follow obscure internet rules when adding a poll. I posted it was simple poll and so it was.

    During week 8 of my enforced redundancy, feeling a bit ragged round the edges, more than a little depressed and having realised that I put the telly on each morning just to hear other voices during the long day that stretched ahead, I happened upon the Cill Dara Abu thread, about 6 posts in, nothing much to it really:)...He liked the look of a girl in a garage, the feeling was possibly mutual and should he ask her out:confused:......what followed was sweet and very clever...just enough info from the OP to keep us invested without him ever being indiscreet about the object of his affections:D The young one in all of us held our breath to see if a date was really on the cards and when it was...how would it go??;)

    What struck me was how boarders got behind our romantic suitor and it seemed to me that, to a man, they were pleased, nay delighted, when the Hero got the Girl...its the stuff of Hollywood and it entertained the hell out of me:D:D:D:D:D.

    I laughed freely and a lot, it was just what I needed to lighten my load...it is a legend to me:D Now if they could just press on to the engagement......;)
