Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi guys,

I really need your advice on employment law.

There is a ****** in dublin.(I can't put on here)
There are employees working overtime (12-14hrs per day)in there.
no formal break time, no wage slips, paid in cash(not weekly)
They are Non-Europeans. The owner is Irish.
The problem is they don't get paid weekly but when the owner comes to the workplace(comes sometimes, not regularly)and employees can take some amount of cash from the till under her permission.
The amount they are allowed to take is only part of their wages which should be paid for what they've worked and are entitled to, not in full.
She's avoiding paying employees in full and making an excuse on purpose.
Most employees are not getting their wages.
Some of them quit and are still trying to get their wages but whenever they are trying to make an appointment with her to get their wages she makes an excuse and doesn't meet them.

I've never heard about such a gross workplace in Ireland.
I do have a pleasant working experience in ireland but they don't.
Is there any way they can get their wages from her straightaway?
Is reporting that place to Employment Appeals Tribunal the only way?
If so does it guarantee that they can get paid for what they've worked soon and how long does it take them to get wages after they send a claim form to EAT?

    Please give me some advice.
I really would appreciate your advice.

The title of the very first thread at the top of the forum reads:
***W-A-R-N-I-N-G***: Do Not Seek Legal Advice

The closest thing to legal advice we can give on here is to advise that you consult with a solicitor.
