Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Heads of terms

A friend is looking to rent a commercial premises and has been issued with Heads of Terms which the estate agent is pressing her to agree to before issueing the lease.

There is nothing too major in it, and she has copies of all the issues she had agreed that the landlord would undertake but she is worried why he is pressing her to agree to this and just not issueing the lease to her solicitor to view and for her to then sign and agree.

I would have guessed that all issues will be incorporated into the lease but I am not sure.

    Any ideas????

I think getting the Estate Agent and/or landlord to deal exclusively with the Solicitor is the most sensible approach.
