    3 mobile have just informed me that my phone a 6303i is not a 3g phone and wont work with their network is this correct?

    Their trying to sell me a new one ?

    Im not having much luck with phones lately :( Or service providers

    It may work, but not properly.

    Thats their job. You can choose a different network, or buy another phone yourself on the cheap

    It means you will never have 3g coverage because your phone is not capable of it. If i was you id get a 3sim, try it in your phone for 48 hours, if it is still working then your sorted. Because its a 2g phone there is no guarantee that it will for for any services with a 3sim, its possible that it could work for a little while and then stop
