Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I am new to all this and just wondering how to choose a primary school apart from word of mouth. Can you visit the schools. TO be honest most of the schools seem to be oversubsribed and you need to put your childs name for all of them .
At what point can you visit a school to get a feeling for it or do you generally end up just taking what you are given?!
Would love some advice on it

Yes, you can visit, make an appointment with the principal. Probably not a good time right now though. If you have an area in mind, many schools have done WSE (whole school evaluations) which may be viewed on education.ie
