Watched that and the next week randomly started reading Kurt Vonnegut's 1959 novel "The Sirens of Titan".

Which also features a large English mastiff, called Kazak. Makes me wonder how many other ridiculously obscure references I've missed over the 4 seasons.

This show was recommened for me on Netflix,Didnt know what to make of it at first and left it but I gave it another chance,Im glad I did,its a very good show and cant wait for this new season!

Though the finale wasn't quite as strong, but there's still been some classic episodes this season. Un Chien Tangerine and Legs were both excellent.

I still can't hear Jon Hamm in the the last 2 episodes as the "evil villain". He did a great job, and great comic timing.

I never actually realised that was him.

One line he'd probably never get to say on Mad Men:

Also I somehow missed in part one, Sea Tunt is a reference to Sea Hunt, but also C. Tunt for Cheryl and Cecil.

Season 5 just started up again, seems like they're being pretty brave changing the entire basis of the show.

The episode was good, but it kind of bugged me that so much of it was basically spoilers for the new season, which I had been intentionally avoiding. It had a good few laughs though so hopefully this new direction will work.

Kreiger's "Yea, I'm around" had me laughing my ass off.

Yeah unless it turns out to be fake thing I'm not delighted about about those last few minutes. "Archer Vice" was a nice bit afterwards though. :P

Not immediately feeling it for this brave new direction though; we'll see...

It's not. Adam Reed told the AV Club the montage was built out of clips of the first seven episodes of the season.

I'm not happy about that. I can see why they did it, maybe to show people it's still the same show or whatever, but there were a lot of punchlines in it.
