With the greatest of respect I went out of my way to get 4 extra players for tonight's game and for one player, one of the boardsie's, not to show up was disappointing to say the least and annoying for me because when I got the other lads I said it was a decent game when it was the complete opposite, I wouldn't be surprised if I ever need to ask them to play in the future they say no. To be honest I'd be thinking twice before going to that bother again.

It was a horrible game, no craic in it at all which for me is the point of the footy

If your not going to be playing you need to give sufficient notice, Holmes (one of my extra men) said to me if we were stuck he could have gotten extra players if he'd have known in time that is, if your not going to play let us know in good time please.

For all we know there could be a good reason for the player not showing up which is fair enough but I want everyone to bear the above in mind please as it's 2 games in a row that there has been no shows now

yeah well said homer... 2 games in a row where ive paid money i can ill afford to walk about in the freezing cold for a non-event because someone hasnt bothered there arse to turn up.. i feel bad for the lads you brought tonight as they seemed decent players & they where the only ones up for it, hope it doesnt put them off coming back in the future, & i think the point really has to be rammed home that if you cant make it please take your name from the list as your only ruining it for every other person!!!

Id say its the time of year affecting most people Homer.. bad weather,saving money for christmas & bugs going around,- i almost pulled out myself was sick all weekend but im fine now- hopefully it will pick up again in the new year!
