    Well we usually play 5 a side but have played 6 a side a few time's, we will be playing with the 10 we have regardless but if you want to come along with someone else feel free to do so, we don't mind playing 6 a side.

    Mod hat on: I have un-approved a few posts so no one will see them as I dont believe we need to have the issue that cropped up earlier discussed in public. I'm also reopening the thread and ask that it be used in the future ONLY for listing players available for games (hopefully) and any bit of associated banter.

    Normal poster: I have followed this thread since its inception and I was and still am very proud of all of you for getting together and having a bit of fun and hopefully increasing the fitness levels a wee bit. Its a credit to everyone that you all got along and arranged the kits, ball, lifts etc and it would be an awful shame to see that fall by the wayside.

    With 10 - 12 people who barely know each other getting together once a week its not unreasonable to assume that some little problem or other will arise and you are all adults and I therefore assume you can thrash this problem out and get back to playing footy again.

    Can I suggest that you first of all engage by PM and then perhaps meet up for a cuppa somewhere or even a pint and engage in a wee bit of dialogue and Im sure you will all sort it out. Talking is good :)

    Mod hat back on: Id rather you didnt reply to my (normal poster) comments above in this post and keep it for the reasons set out above but Im free to talk to anyone by PM. Thanks all.

    I have given this matter some more thought after talking it over with homer - not in his capacity as a mod but as the author of this thread and the guy who has arranged the bookings etc every Tuesday night.

    Sadly homer has made the decision that he is now finished with the whole thing and accordingly I think it only right and fair that I close this thread now but whoever is intending to organise the footy from now should start a new thread and they can either copy and paste the last couple of posts with the list of names for next Tuesday night or just let me know and I'll move the posts to the new thread.

    Im sure I speak for everyone when I say a big thank you to homer for his sterling work over the last couple of years.

    Finally Id like to say that I am a tad disappointed on hearing of a certain incident (the person involved will know what Im talking about) which has put a wee bit of a dampener on what has been an excellent weekly outing until now.
