    http://www.irishexaminer.com/sport/gaa/kerry-not-resting-on-laurels-as-future-starts-to-take-shape-288388.html

On and off the field, kerry miles ahead of us
There laughing at cork, and i dont blame them, they have every justifable right to do so in fairness.
The nearest thing cork saw sam this year ,was when they waved it out the window, passing through mallow, changing on to the line for kerry from dublin on the train monday.I presume they travelled by train.

    http://www.eveningecho.ie/2014/09/25/pairc-deadline/

This story never ceases to amaze me.The way it was said a few weeks ago,i thought it got the all clear this project ,it Seems though just like a formailty,Christmas will come early for the cork county board.

    http://www.eveningecho.ie/2014/09/25/cork-team/

The main dublin players imo are Ruddy,i said after the kerry game, gave an exhibition of majestic.corner back play ,masterston, and young healy who is everything a half forward should be,super player, corkery the one to mark her imo, after marking dalton kilkenny in the second half of the camoige so well, ideal for such a job.

Peat is a dangerous, shrewd, expierenced,no pace  now but strong on the ball, walsh or stack should be able for her.
Rowe is excellent but geradline flynn, the  defender, loves to go forward well able for her.

Mulchay on ruddy could be epically fasinating imo,the best corner back in the game v the best corner forward at the moment.
Im a huge fan of Ruddys style of play.

For all dublins key players that have to have big  big games for them to win,Cork have proven, expierenced, not  just  good but i mean great, truly great warriors and footballers to counteract them in the duels.
I expect a close game but fully expect cork to win as i have Total Belief in the players, and crucially i have 100 per cent total belief in the management,Why So Thinkstoomuch1,simply cause they earned my belief on the field of play with many past performances.I truly believe in them and will continue to do so if they ,were even to loose.

Dr. Harty Cup Senior A Hurling Round 1
    Next wednesdsay

    1.3o pm
Scoil Na Troinoide Naofa Doon V St Colmans Col – Cashel
Gaelscoil Mhuire AG V DLS Waterford – Ardmore
St Francis Col Rochestown V Charleville CBS – Mallow  2pm
Our Ladys Templemore V PS Youghal – Clonmel
Ham HS Bandon V Nenagh CBS – Buttevent

Tough opening games for the cork schools.
Imperative they hit the groubd running
    Hamilton will be competive v nenagh,but horgan,cahalane.,huge looses .

Luke meade, chris o leary vital for them.
It must be mentioned again the sublime,Johnny keane, after winning a junior b with ballyclough already,Greanagh after won junior last year,in to intermediate semi final.
You cant subsuite good coaching all the same.
Against the outstanding coach in denis ring, fermoy be very very good,a grenagh team that would die with their boots on for keane, will be dogged, resilence, spirted, and will bring huge physicity to the game.

Fermoy have the youthful exurbence, young hurlers, skilful.but grenagh expierence and sheer class of tom kenny may edge it.

Greanagh have the outstanding cork minor full back, some lad to.pluck  ball out of the air,up front, got two goals the weekend.
Clyda replay v town on saturday, are a fine side, dogged resilent but.the.key is the instenity, ferocity they play with,a drop in just ten per cent of that would mean town could win handy, simply as i said last week, they looked tired last werk in the last ten minutes, and i fear with a few injuries they have ,the short turnover in a week,a team that has been on the go since the last 18 months in championship,i fear there going to be tired and town could win this handy.

Clyda havent just been playing hard up to february this year but training very hard.Apart from a minor break, they were full on for the vital ist game v o donovan rosssa.
Clyda hope is keep it slow,no tempo, slow down the clock,for.the.ist forty, then push on.
If the town get a five point lead, clyda are in big trouble.
Its not that they panic,as v miltown last year, and necestown were down by four and won,my fear is have they the energy levels one week later to put in such a performance v a fresher town side.

Sars i fear will beat na piarsaigh if mannix is out.Cork hurling doesnt need sars to win it imo.
Na piarsaigh can give themselves a huge help by starting  Joyce on Cian mac,he held him in the league final ,and would be able for.him.
If joyce is started v kearney in midfield, they will loose before a ball is even pucked.
Get the match up rights ,they have a chance.
Gould on ray ryan, could do damage, pace ,grit, temparment, strong, cork material written all over him.bar injury,is lethal.
He is better than lawton or cian mac, even imo better than both of them put together.

Dayne lee ,gets one on one v quiqley could trouble him.
I expect keating to start in goals, espiceally if mannix is out,as the full back line needs, compsure and expierence.

Patrick collins nominated for goalkeeper u 21 team of the year, huge chance winning it,cork wouldnt beat waterford bar hes five awesome saves.
Ger cunningham a judge, think he will win it
Alan cadgan is in line, but the fact theres real top forwards ,i mean top forwards, that had more games than him,he could not make it.
Collins doesnt have imo the same level of compeiton.
Collins is going to be senior for cork, simply awesome goalkeeper.
    Brother Ger,younger just as good.

I have heard that the board has fined charleville for repeatedly calling the game of.it has been called of 3 times now .they have appealed the fine.I'd say new town were nominated for the county over that

Sean ,your a great poster imo,a very ruthless winning attuide, like myself,we share many similar views, yes we disagree at times, but our philsipioes are very similar.
I say this ,simply i was blown,by an awesomely mesormaically, truly beatufiul articually ,foresenic truly splendid, great ,i mean great article by barry.o donovan on tonights echo on the Messiah, genuis,Ned english.

Sean i think you would find this some read,as i was delighted with it.
Now this is an article testament to compliment english skills, way more depth than peter mcnmamara article, he gave no fact just skimmed the surface,in truth imo wouldnt lace the shoelaces of english wonderful talents and achievements.

Christ ,heaven sweet lord, halleuagh,Amen is all i say,English finally getting the limelight this year.
I have no link,to it,couldnt post the article via attachement either but i would recommend any cork fan buy it ,well worth 1.50 in money for that piece of art tonight.

He explained English time in Waterford,Dromcollogher broadford, duhallow, truly gives the picture of english from the inside out.
He had a wonderful headline, coach neds system gets rights results with a picture of eammon fitzmaurice, saying adaptabiåity is key for both coaches, and english philsophy is centred around defensive solidity and ball retention, and fitzmaurice and kerry implemented a simiår strategy.
He said like me, clyda might not win a county, but they wont go in to any games with inferior complexes, ned english is doing hes thing and coaches matter alright.

Barry o donovan is a wonderful writer,i said it many times.
That article, michael moyinhans, frank murphy could do worse thsn read them.
I have praised English many times.
Great hes in the limelight .
I get this feeling, some reporters.,like here, are saying this is what cork are currently missing.

    http://www.eveningecho.ie/2012/08/31/why-cork-lost-to-donegal-the-barry-odonovan-column/

Brillant piece in 2012 why cork lpst to donegal by the same writer.
See where he said, cork ran in to traffic or kicked aimlessy in to a sweeper or panicked,or forgot what they were doing,or were too loose in marking donegal, none of those would happen under English.
And with cleary with him, cork wouldnt have been one dimenshoal or complete blanket, would have been a wonderful dream management for cork.
If heinken done dreams in cork management, they would be it.

Ya barry is a good writer, is he a son of franks deputy diarmuid o Donovan btw? Heard a rumour that the dual players have been asked by the football management to make a choice football or hurling, also heard that ed Coughlan s&c/skills coach with mayo has been asked to come on board, apparently following cian oneill to CIT. Nothing substantial but if true a good move, although without someone of English's calibre we are ****ed.
Moynihan is a fine writer but a hurling snob imo. I think what has been lost in the football debacle has been the hurling set up, JBM needs a real game manager alongside him on the line; seanie does nothing except the media, jim Crowley offers?? while Kingston is a good coach he gets too involved and for some unreal reason cork use him as a runner!!! maybe JBM is happy with Dr Con offering him advice but the hurling set up need something else, heading into year 4, imo the chance was last year vs clare.

    Album: A New Journey
I hear your voice on the wind
And I hear you call out my name
"Listen, my child," you say to me
"I am the voice of your history
Be not afraid, come follow me
Answer my call, and I'll set you free"
I am the voice in the wind and the pouring rain
I am the voice of your hunger and pain
I am the voice that always is calling you
I am the voice, I will remain
I am the voice in the fields when the summer's gone
The dance of the leaves when the autumn winds blow
Ne'er do I sleep thoughout all the cold winter long
I am the force that in springtime will grow
I am the voice of the past that will always be
Filled with my sorrow and blood in my fields
I am the voice of the future, bring me your peace
Bring me your peace, and my wounds, they will heal
I am the voice in the wind and the pouring rain
I am the voice of your hunger and pain
I am the voice that always is calling you
    I am the voice
I am the voice of the past that will always be
I am the voice of your hunger and pain
I am the voice of the future
I am the voice, I am the voice
I am the voice, I am the voice

    ,}

Driving home the other day,the voice,Emiear Quinn Eurovision winning song came on the radio, from 1996 the same year Wexford won the All Ireland.I am not a eurovision fan but the lyrics of that song struck me to the Core, in that Donal Og Cusack rekindles a lot  imo with the song lyrics as He's Values Corellates a lot in similarity with the words in this Song .Cusack is like the Voice in Cork GAA its been crying out for in the darkness, for a long long time now.He would be the Mother Nature ,Cork hurling needs to watch over it.

That Voice Spoke On Sunday 17th August 2014 On National TV,like an Address To The Sporting Nation Of Ireland.Like Roy Keanes famous interview ,Addressing the Nation im 2002,Saipan ,Tommy O Gorman Interview after he had the balls ,honesty,to call a spade a spade and expose the shambles,in the Mickey mouse set up ireland soccer was then.Like Keane, cusack has divided opinion now,but like keane,as time passes hes views will be proven they had value in it unless things change.

He is Corks Voice of History, in both Success and Failure both On and Off The Field Of Play, the County Board should not be afraid of he's VISION FOR REAL CHANGE,they should Come Follow Him,Answer He's Call what he said with Cork Underage, and He Will Set Them Free,Free Of The Famine We Have Had And Continue To Painfully Endure  At Minor,U21 And Senior .Cusack is waiting for hes name to  be called out.

Cusack is and was that Voice in the Wind and Pouring rain off the field like he was on the field in the rain drenced All Ireland Final in 1999,going all over Cork and the Country in hail, rain or snow coaching young players, promoting the greatest ameuateur game in the world imo,and now he is that same Voice of Hunger and Pain. He has the Hunger to want more for Cork GAA,and the Pain to see Cork Hurling,Once Upon A Time A Long Long Long Tine In Being Such A Great Force become a  such Minnow At  Practically All Levels In The Modern Game Bar Intermediate Hurling,Our One Shining Light Through The Darkness Of Cork Hurling.

He is that same Voice, always calling and demanding Cork GAA for better standards,he is the Voice that will always remain calling it what is in Cork,he is the Voice now in the fields helping Cloyne  last saturday,a  playing for them outstanding well, and today and coaching them ,now when the summer is gone and now  the dance of the leaves when the autumn winds blow, never will he allow he's vision of a better Cork go to sleep throughout  all the cold winter long as like a player when he on Timmy Macs farm in the winter had the pain of 2003 or when he ran on Xmas day 2003 with Sean Og Halpin driving him on for 2004 glory,he is the force in spring time that will grow ,in when the league starts,he will still demand better for Cork in hes newspapers articles and also do everything he can with diarmuid falvey to have cloyne or any team hes involved with getting in the best possible shape for the upcoming championship.

Cusack is the Voice of the past, that Will Always Be.
The past of strikes Haunts Him in he won't want any Cork GAA player to have fight so hard Off The Field for a Better Future On the Field, the Voice of the Past that will always be in ,He has a winning Mentailty as a Player in past Minor, Intermediate,U 21 Senior,All Ireland, that Real Vibrant Progressive Voice of a Past Winning Mentailtly will always be.

He was the Voice of the Past that will always be filled with hes Sorrow and Blood in hes fields, the Sorrow of loosing county finals with Cloyne, the heartbreak of loosing The Three In A Row with Cork, the Battles with the County Board, the Blood that he spilled on the field in the Heat Of Battle for Cloyne,Imokilly,Munster, and Cork Teams, and in countless Charity games, all for the True Uncherished love of Hurling and In Particular Above All The Rest, HE'S lOVE FOR all things Cork Hurling shown by hes support og the Camoige ,at The End Of The Day.

He is that same Voice of Corks  Hurling Future, bring him your  Peace Frank Murphy and Bob Ryan, go against your views Bob that while you serve Any Office in Cork you will decline a  reply to Cusacks questions, bring him your Peace,do better for Cork GAA in your role in Cork GAA and as he said  that Friday  he's wounds will  then Heal  and he will shake Bob's and Franks hand as he said he would have no problem doing. Donal Og Cusack is imo the Voice That Truly Cork GAA Craves for and has for such a Long ,Long Time Now,in he is the Voice Of Corks GAA Hunger and Pain both in the Past and Now Very Much In The Future Of Cork Hurling.

Donal Og Cusack is the Voice that should be in the Future OF Cork Hurling, The Director Of Hurling In Cork,The voice Cork Hurling craves for,and thankfully hes voice will never remain quiet in whatever darkness follows cork hurling .

Some day I Hope, the Top Table In Cork Answer that Voice,But Even If They Just Listened(he may not be liked by some ,viewed as divisive etc,but no one can deny the Truths in the Bare Facts in what he said,) To That Voice For Now,It Would Be At Least Very Much A Start to Resolving Cork's Hurling's Problems imo.

Pigs will fly first though unfortunately,as that county board meeting once again defined the remarkable consistence  arrorgance  and illlogical views they have on cork hurling and denial to corks hurling problems, the sheer undemomactic view to debate them by the county board, and the sheer defiance to sail Cork Hurling and football ships ,through stormy waters,as they think Cork Gaa is Unsinkable, despite numerous warnings of icebergs  lying ahead. We all know what happened the Titanic.
It sank but never recovered.Cork Hurling and football is ,im deeply deeply saddened to say, heading that way imo. One football all ireland every twenty years for a county like cork ,lets cut the crap, lets be honest is horrendous and guys like ciaran sullivan, colin corkery, joe kavanagh, etc great,i mean great great players never winning an all ireland is a dissaster, and many more current players will follow suit unless things change fast.Cork gaa failed these players imo.
Bob ryan is a politican ,but at least people have the democratic right to vote him  out of power on election day if they choose
Cork gaa people dont have that same privelge though where every single vote has power in electing men at the top level.Cork gaa is controlled by a minority of key figures people at grassroots have little if indeed any influence in important decisions in Cork GAA.

Its 16 years, from 1903 to 1919,longest senior famine ever by cork in Hurling, going on 1o years now that 16  years doesnt seem too far away at all,in fact its too close for comfort imo.
Since the last long barren 12 year lapse of 54 to 66,we are entering very close to that famine at senior hurling ,going on ten years now, very unlikely imo to win the all ireland next year,we will be competive though but that could be as good it gets

I dont think barry is the son of diarmid.
Im not sure but i think he is an ex clonakilty footballer.
Coughlan is brillant, but how much control would Cuthbhert give him,don davis and cuthbhert would want to have less.input imo.

You see a great coach must be listened to ,cody and dempsey, fitmaurice o.neill,o grady wallis etc, kinnerk and davy fitz.
Walsh and english clyda prime examples

Examples where good coaches ,arent listened to imo by mansgers as much as should be and ends in sadness is examples,Flannery good coach with.pat kenneally,Brian ryan with jerry wallis,Ronan mccarthy with.counihan and cuthbhert,O grady great coach with tj ryan.
All depends on how much cuthbhert allows hes coach infulence things imo.

what do ye make of Pat Flanagan being linked to the football setup in the paper today? being "loathe to get involved with Cork" isn't a good start anyway

I find that quote from the kerryman leen as unreal - Flanagan is from Waterford, he was last involved with Kerry in 2009, his intercounty record since then has been with waterdord during ryans years.
Also involved with leen with douglas and they blew up again when it was put up to them in the championship, but Cuthbert wants another yes man and perhaps this fella fits the bill - totally underwhelming

Went to see Charleville V Aghada last nite, heard a lot about both teams but Charleville just blew them away. Darragh Fitzgibbon is some talent and should be on minor team in 2015. Darren Casey showed he was a huge loss to minors this yr. Very young Charleville team and it will take a serious team to beat them

Pat flanagan is an excellent coach ,with Tipp u21 footballers and laois hurlers recently is good but he shouldnt be with cork.
For a man that doesnt like cork, how can he commit hes full energy and drive to the role.

This is unbelievable under cuthbhert, just when things couldnt get any worse.
What will hes speech be to cork v hes beloved kerry proud to hold on to their 20 year old home unbeaten in kerry next year,to motivate cork be.??

Coughlan, english, leahy, kisssane all cork me,much better options.
Its not the ist time a kerry man coached cork ,in aidan mcgearlit coached the hurling in the denis walsh reigh.Thats fine, its hurling,a different dymanic and rivarly with football, with kerry,i have huge doubts it will work.Flanganan wasnt born in kerry but has a deep love them
    A poor call imo.
If they wanted an outside coach ,there was plenty of other options than,a kerryman.
I know I said the philsophy if you cant beat kerry join them, but I advocate this.
The expenses of flanagan I would think will be high enough, its money they dont need to spend with so many other top coaches around in cork.If he hates cork, why coach us.Is cuthbhrert going to beg him,he feels for smpathy us.
I said it the last day even before this kerry are laughing at us,absoultey, saying for the next year how their win in cork was their turning point for glory, and now this.
Sorry let me rephrase it,the humlilation they gave to cork,a win doesnt do them justice, when they hammered us.

Clyda beaten by a point with Lots of injuries to key players particulaty hanlon who got an infection from an injury, lost nothing in defeat.

This is not rubbish like the muskerry lads, like saying vaughan, gould were huge losses, they could of won if they had them.
Such rubbish they had Goulding ,still an intercounty playet they were horrfic in truth.

Clyda had no depth in the panel, hanlon, kissane going off early with a black card, meant they had a huge uphill task ,but they had bottle ,grit, heart and resolve and never gave up.The town having 14 men helped clyda but the town had more scoring power.
Its ironic, bishoptown got farther this year than with cuthbhert in charge of them.

Carey,o sullivan, fitzgerald, murphy were excellent for them, dorman outstanding for bishopstown.
I had feared clyda would be beaten handily, but this wonderfully coached team, defied the odds again, and bishopstown are certainly beatable ,and imo wont win a county.
A superb season, for them and Ned English.

Best of luck to the cork ladies today and na piarsaigh v sars.I hope na piarsaigh win but mannix is a huge loss. The last thing we need is sars win a county ,talk the talk, say this is their time for a munster title but yet again flatter to decieve.
The glen v douglas,i like both teams, anyone can win it,id like the glen soley for the reason it will reduce the cadogan, collins hype of playing hurling for cork next year if douglas are beaten.

Ladies are 1-07 v 0-04 behind at ht. Dublin are playing very well but some of the Cork shooting has been nothing short of abysmal. If they bring their shooting boots in the second half and Dublin tire they still have a great chance.

    SARS won earlier by1-18 v0-14

    Some comeback by Cork.

Really enjoyable game of football.Angela Walsh was outstanding in the second half for Cork.

Also there was a good athmosphere at it.looked to be a much bigger crowd at the football today than the Camogie a couple of weeks ago.

I don't think I'm exagerating if I say this but that was one of the finest bravest performances I've seen by any Cork team

What an outstanding game, in particular the second half. Great credit to Cork for continuing to the final whistle and not giving up like their male counterparts. When we got level with 6 mins to go we shot 2 bad wides, fell behind by a point and yet....and yet Cork came back again. They did have some shocking wides especially from frees and they would have won by more but for these misses.

They certainly gave a second half performance that lends credence to my belief that they are the best Cork Gaa team that I have ever had the pleasure of watching!!!

    Togha Mná !!!

True - they threw it away.

No point in having so many players back if you dont actually mark anyone.

Finally a proper game of hurling in the senior championship between Douglas and Glen. The Glen were cruising with 15 minutes to go but Douglas finished like a train and it ended in a draw. Just like the Ballymartle game for the Glen. Maybe its fitness that's catching them. Serious battles all over the field. A Cadogan started like a train but McDonnell got totally on top of him. Hoggie started better than Eoin Cadogan but was well outplayed in the 2nd half. Mark O'Connor, Cork U21, had a good 2nd half. Dave Cunningham, G Callinan and Dave Noonan hurled well for the Glen.
Sars v unimpressive v Na P. A scuttery goal direct from a 50m lineball put them well ahead early on. Na P defense with Gardiner and the fullback line lording it took control up till the last 10 minutes but the hadn't the forwards to get the scores. Joyce and C Buckley won midfield. Sars goalmouth led a charmed existence at times. Pa O'Rourke must have made a dozen clean catches durling the game with little benefit gained for NaP. Cian Mc carried the Sars attack. Cussen is a huge loss for them.

Superb ,absoultey supberb win for Cork Ladies.I knew they would win, even when i heard they were ten points down,i knew they would win.
Simply as Cork have warriors, when the need is greatest, and you need leaders,i.mean the great leaders to stand stall, flynn, corkery, the majestic mulchay, sullivan, stack, the wonderful Angela walsh who had poor ist halfs stood up.
I felt dublin had key players, rowe, ruddy, healy, peat, masterson before the game.
Eventually cork got the handle on them, there was only going to be one winner,as like i said then, dublin had indivuals,Crucially cork had a team of 15.Watching it on recording now, gutted couldnt be there, but clashed with the hurling.

I have referenced here many times,Cork and dublin training camps in ul.
It is not suprising for me to hear briege today say it was that weekend was the toughest ever had.
I saw it with my own eyes, christ sweet heavenly jesus,it was awesome,an intensity better than the men imo in their camp in ul imo.
Dublin ladies were good in their camp in ul,but as i said just miles of corks drills, cork that good.
See cork ladies train hard harder than some men,but look on the fun,the smile on their faces when they win, shows you can enjoy sport and still be feriously hungry to win. This ladies team would actually no exaggeration test our current men in a game, and i would be backing them if i had to pick a winner.

That was the difference, dublin were fine and fancy when the game was open, and as much as cork made mistakes, they when the greatest was needed, played well, epitimosed by geraldine flynn, loads easy wides, huge characther to get match winning point, and two other great points.
Peat as great as she was ,when the game was in the melting pot, didnt do much.

Cork are like kilkenny, real belief they are never beaten, have kerry numbers, they saw them off, there gone for a while now,and as much as briege said she would fear dublin next year,it was imo like cody or kerry  men yerra talk, being gracious,we fear tipp next year and cork, truth be told they have no reason to fear either,as Cork like them, well and truly have their number,No way will dublin bounce back after loosing huge lead last and this year ,They are like tipp hurling to kilkenny, too many heart breaking defeats will not do them good.
I can see cork winning this next year again and brige, one medal of the record of most all ireland seniors to equal the record,if any team will beat them maybee galway a young team with no baggage in loosing to cork recently, the kerry, dublin, monaghan too much baggage v cork .
Not the fact dublin were down ten,but also they went ahead again, cork missed three points, yet got the next two points.

Ryan made good subs, scally brillant.Cork were not ten points poorer team,it was just sloppy passing, poor shooting let them down .
A bit like the spider going up the wall,he falls,he falls, knocked down again and again
Never beaten though,he will reach the top eventually,Cork are the same.
Just a case of when, not if,they overcome kerry at the top of the roll of honour,as kerry are gone for a good while imo ,the wind truly knocked out of there sails, like dublin, cork on Nine all irelands, just two of Kerry.
I new cork would win ,as i Truly like i said here truly believed in them ,both players and crucially management,i believed in.
Eammon ryan what a superb manager.
If the win couldnt get any sweeter,we now have a limerick fan on trying to discredit, the best perfermonance ever by them,in the ref helped them.Complete rubbish imo.You couldnt script it.You say you saw the last ten only,i suggest you watch the full game on tg4 player rather than discredit a superb perferomance,Cork fully deserved that win.
Poor shooting  by cork saved dublin in the ist half imo.Any team can play when there allowed. When cork upped the intensity they blew dublin away in the last 15 minutes.
Dublin played at maxmium potential,,still lost, cork in truth so sloppy uncharectherically ,played below their own standard for the full game, yet still won.The Better team won,its that simple. No great mystery at all.

Fasinating insight ,imo from a lad that thinks, good old 1973 ,hit and hope limerick hurling were unlucky to loose to kilkenny and are close to an ireland and motto is play it hard, is hit everything that moves ,if it doesnt make it move.Ye met yere match,a team just as tough as ye in Kilkenny but with an intelligence in management tactics yere senior hurling team have not and will do well to come even close to imo in the next five years.

Im sorry now,but cork ladies football actually deliver on the big day, truly justify any hype they get, they dont talk the talk, they walk the walk ,and combine their fire and fury with intelligence both on and off the field unlike limerick where nine times out of ten flatter to decive.Ye  may need referring decisions to win ye games,ye simply cant do yereselves,
Cork ladies win games thereselves need no outside help.
This is not me being harsh, just look at the bare facts,im calling a spade a spade. To even hint they won over soft calls on the referee is a joke. You see unlike limerick cork ladies actually take their destiny in their own hands and control the controllabes.
This Cork team have never lost an all ireland final, tells its own story, has nothing to do with luck ,or referrees.Been in 10,Won 10.

Sars beat na piarsaigh as i feared, woeful call playing joyce at midfield.Daniel kearney destroyed him when the game opened up and went away from the physical exchanges.
The logic baffles me why they keep playing joyce at midfield.
    Gardinder,gould,buckley were good,but conor sullivan,kearney,were good for
sars but there beatable,an average tired team now.

Willam kearney was good also, cian.mac outstanding, but club games he always is.Does today mean hes up cork level,no simply not.
Joyce was the man mark to him,he didnt,so cian mac was made a hero.
The sideline got the match ups wrong. If they made the correct ones they could have won.
Cussen is only a loss in cork, where.no full backs quality exists,in munster he as before would be destroyed by any good intercounty full back.Cadogan would hold him,as he has the aggression in the hurling for him.

Douglas or glen have nothing to fear on a dry day imo with sarsfields or any team in Munster.
That next game was epic,Glen ahead, douglas great resilence to come back from seven down, then glen a point down with time almost up to equalise
Cadogan was poor enough at times on horgan, hardly intercounty on that display??He got physical but Horgan drifting in and out of the game imo helped him.
Alan was good when he got good ball, great tussle with mcdonnell,he got three points.
Collins wasnt great, moylan was good, missed a great goal chance, mulrooney was good,o connor was very good ,a cork u 21 next year worth watching, just out of minor.

    Kennfick,mcdonnell,callinan,dooling,cunningham,were good for the glen.
Horgan had hes moments but for a senior all star intercounty player ,imo i would be expecting so much more of him in these big big club games and he should have the beating of cadogan if he steps up in the replay.

I said newestown are a dogged team, they are, i heard they beat kanturk, credit due.
Kilshanning and the barrs drew in the junior .Fermoy beat grenagh, fermoy v charville now in the final.

Double Delight for cork ladies, why, simply the great talent is complimented by wonderful coaches in Paudie Murray,Eammon Ryan, who would be well able to manage in the mens game.
    Its that simple.

Good comeback by Cork but Dublin yet again completely lost their heads .

To be honest we'll take the wins whatever way they come and i thought Cork ground Dublin down in the end.2005 2006 2007 2008 2009 2011 2012 2013 2014.Put that in you're pipe and smoke it.;) This is an outstanding team.Their heart skill courage spirit and workrate is a credit to our great county.
