We've a trip planned to the zoo tomorrow for my daughter's first birthday. Just how awful is all this thunder and hail going to be? Is there any point in going or should we find something more indoorsy to do?

I'm tempted! The buggy has a raincover after all. And the zoo would be lovely and empty : )

Hi Caitriona where are you getting this from I checked Met Eireann and all they are showing is showers no mention of thunder or hail.

Mr. Cranium's daily forecast on the other thread would be the source for that, i'm afraid.

ME's forecast of showers all day in the east is nearly worse though.
