    Hi,
We have to do up our house to meet our needs and unfortunately we are in negative equity and need some cash to do it up.

    My question is:
where can we get a decent loan eg relatively low interest for around 30k from?
We have one asset a site worth around 35k. We are now wondering if there is a any way to release equity or get a loan based on this site.
    Any other recommendations welcome.
    thank you

Credit union. But you'd need to be a regular saver. Not too much but just to be seen to be in and out frequently with a few bob to put aside.

Have you been to a few banks to discuss options at all yet?
