Oh to have a picnic hamper
    Full of melamine and plastic
I'd bring it everywhere I go
    From Cork to Inisbofin
So the kids and I could picnic very often

If I won this fabulous hamper
Off to the kitchen I'd scamper
I'd fill it with treats, and bread and cold meats
And on the beach I'd be one happy camper!!

Last time I spoke to my nearest neighbour he was pointing a loaded shotgun at me. An ould picnic might be just the icebreaker we need:D

    I think I would blow a gasket,
If I don't win the picnic basket,
Id travel this little green island,
With the power supplied by electric Ireland,
Enjoying sandwiches and tea by the sea,
    Courtesy of yeer electriciteeeeeeeee:)

Knocksink woods near Bray in Co. Wicklow is a lovely place for picnics. There is this little spring hidden away in the woods, surrounded by lovely trees but sunshine is still pouring in and then clear waters to have a little dip if it's too warm, if only.

I'd use it to have picnics on the Inch Beach in Kerry.
What better way than to take in the incredible views with a stylish picnic basket.

I’ll ask my neighbours to a televised match
To our friendship it will add quite a catch
    To be sitting with flags
And our sangwitches in our bag
And my money will avoid quick dispatch
