Back sliding door nor working

    The back door(sliding door) wont open, it has 2 levers, one outside and one inside. When I pull the lever, either inside or out, it is like as if they arent catching the lockign mechanism inside and thus it stays shut, the key in the lock wont turn around to open or locked. Have tried to put pressue on door and use lever both inside and out and no luck.

    Any ideas?

    have u takin the handle off and seen whats going on or have u even try,d lifting the door off from outside or worst case drill out the lock and then open the door fix the handle and new lock

    The lock isnt broken, it looks like the levers are not catching on the mechanism inside the door so the catches that are keeping the door locked dont slide up and down like they are supposed to.Drilling out the lock is not an option as this will not do anything.Need to get the mechanism that works with the levers to catch the inside locking part of the door.
