Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

It depends on what kind of contractual issue. I'd suggest contacting a few General Practise solicitors and ask them. Look up the Golden Pages and check out the websites if you don't know them.

If it's something complex, like a multimillion euro contract, you'd be advised to go to one of the bigger firms which specialise in commercial law. If it's not that scale, your local solicitor should be able to deal with it but again, that's presuming it's a relatively straightforward matter.

You could try FLAC alright if you have a contractual problem. If you contracted as a consumer and you're the victim of a breach, they would most likely give you some good advice. I'm not so sure they would help out if you had breached the contract. I always had the impression that FLAC were there to help the ordinary guy, who is a victim of some wrong and can#'t afford legal representation (and where the legal aid board are not in a position to assist).

Any general practise solicitor would be able to advise on such a matter I'm sure. Alot of solicitors will do a first consultaiton free so ring up and meet one or two on that basis. You will get some basic advice and if you wish ot pursue the matter, you can choose who you preferred.

Or you can go to FLAC and get some advice too.

FLAC is a charity and i dont think many volunteers would be happy giving advice for a debt collection of €20,000. Thats what private solicitors exist for.
