Very hard to say, I'm trying to work out pricing at the moment. There is a 928 S2 on DD for €10,000. Ours is a GTS which is the last addition of the 928 and by far the best, However the tax is killer and although it is the same on the S2 for now it'll get classic tax in 2 years and ours will not.
There are no other GTSs for sale in Ireland that I can find at the moment but in the UK similar cars with similar milage and history are advertised for between £13,000 and £19,000.

    Looks nice.

I'm changing to Bilstein B8's and the Eibach Pro-Kit. I didn't buy any other parts.

Should I also be changing the strut bearings and mounts or anything else?

What car have you got? Mine was a '98 and all original stuff so that's why I put new top shock mounts on, bearings were fine.

Took out part of the floor and drilled fitting holes:

    Bolted on and cleaned up:

I've been tempted by these, but I'd want to get them the red backing.

Have you seen the seat height adjustment inserts? Were the first thing I did to mine.

    216323.jpg

I have the exact same inserts, first thing I did aswell :D

You could always put some red material behind the GTI logo if you cant find an alternative.

Did your car come with the alloy pedals or did you get them somewhere? Looking to get a set for mine at some stage.

Came with them, I assume it's because it's a GTI, they come as standard I think.

Yeah, the aluminium pedals and floor mounted accelerator (which I'm not a fan of) are standard on the GTI.

I love the floor mounted pedal!

So the other day I took apart the fog lights and fitted the led strip inside that was going to run as DRL, bit of a pain, but got it done.

Wired these up today so they would switch off when the lights are on. Looks pretty nice.

Next up. Wash and polish :-)

We're waking up to something like this every morning for the last few weeks. Feckin bushes from the field next door are growing over the dividing wall and in to our drive. The birds also have a dose of the trots. I'll be getting this out tomorrow!

Sorry :D Swallows started nesting their nest at our house... Guess ill have to start washing it a lot more often from now on :S

Anyway :) Washed it, got rid of the tar, did some compounding on few parts and polished it to finish it off. Tidied up the wiring in the engine bay too, to make sure nothing come lose :) Shinny again.

Grasstrack is some serious hillbilly stuff though, even beyond your remit id say :pac: I'd love to do it, there's a few tracks only down the road from me, but the clientele puts me off, and I'm even fairly country myself :pac:

Speaking of XUD's, ive been pricking around at one (D8) the past week, lying up a long time, will fire and run like fook on easy start, but not under its own juice, new filter gone in & clean(ish) diesel... And ive ran out of ideas couldnt be arsed :P It might suit a rough man with a 106 :D

Yeah sorry, thats what I meant. The bronze/gold colour similar to Imprezas :-) Will look up on that, cheers!

Went on findapart and stuck a few part requests in, spoiler, side skirt's and few bits and bobs :-)

Despite this being my pride and joy, I only got around to getting it cleaned today for the first time in just way too long. It's shameful really, but I think it's come up well. The inside is still as new so haven't grabbed any pics of that. Marked difference between before/after!

JL Audio 600/6 Class D full range
Very good sound quality for a class D
Very popular in the US on all sort of bimmers, e39, e90 etc..
I run 4 midranges, 4 tweeters and 2x 150 watts subs with it no problem, punches very good.
