Setting up blackberry

I recently bought a blacberry.

I remember being told i had to text , my blackberry , to some number to set it up properly.
When i do this will i be able to intergrate an e-mail account with the phone.

Also does anyone know the number to text as i cant find it anywhere.

So you need to have been provisioned for BIS (Blackberry internet services) for all the blackberry stuff to work. It's 9.99 per month on pre pay with meteor or 499 on bill pay with meteor. If you have been provisioned then go here:

on a pc and register your device

I think i need to send the my blackberry message to set up the 9.99 thing.
Any idea what the number to text is.
I was told send the words 'my blackberry' to it

This can be done by free texting the word ‘My blackberry’’ to 50104. Meteor will send a welcome message and request to top up €9.99 to activate the service
