    Is there a way to sort the posts in a thread my most thanked? In long threads it would be great to be able to read the good posts first without scanning through loads of average and boring replies

    OP is talking about sorting the 'posts' in a thread by 'most thanked'.

    You can't do that with the search function.

    Would be really handy in threads such as YLYL alright.
