Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Dear all,

    I am moving to Galway next week and hope to pick up a primary teaching job for September 2011 coming. If not at least subbing. Im just wondering what the subbing scene is like in Galway? I.E. Are there many subbing opportunities there? I'm so worried and anxious that I won't get subbing. Even if I had two days subbing a week I'd be content, Is that likely? I have fluent Gaeilge if that makes any difference at all?

    Stressed :eek::confused:

    I suppose the only thing you can do at the moment while you're applying for jobs is get your CV in to the local schools and see what happens

    It's very hard to get "into" Galway,as traditionally many locals go into teaching and will often get preference over others. Subbing anywhere is difficult at the moment.
