Congratulations on all your results guys!

I'll hopefully be starting in DCU in September too - Applied Languages and Intercultural Studies is my choice :) Got 600 in 2008 so... pretty sure I have it :

    Yay, DCU! :D

Did this the last couple of years with reasonable success, so shall do it again.

Set up an IRC (Internet Relay Chat) channel for the incoming firsties so you can get to know each other. It's at #dcufreshers on Quakenet for those of you who know what that means.

For those that don't, there's a web-based chat program here. You can go there, enter your nickname (Your boards one would make it easy for us to know who we're talking to) and enter "#dcufreshers" for the channel.
Assuming nothing goes wrong you'll connect and can chat.

Last couple of years it got really active most evenings, but remember that it's real-time, so there's a decent chance that it'll be empty some of the time.
I'd say just keep it open and check back from time to time.

I read the first 21 pages of this post... Then I had to stop, woah guys! Baha :P

Tríona, 18, Roscommon, going for Computer Applications! Noticed a few comments from people applying for the same course, but they're all boys, haha! I didn't think I'd be in such a minority until now... :)

Also, I love reading, and I don't care what teabags are used, as long as it's strong, milky, and I don't have to make it :D

I've applied for on campus, but I think I put Hampstead over Larkfield... Ah well, we'll see soon enough for sure where we all end up!

I put Hampstead over Larkfield too, I also applied for Shanowen just in case :pac:
