Can I still claim tax back on my rent?

I was wondering if I can still claim back tax on the appartment im renting? Ive been paying 500 euro PM for a 2 bed apartment since 01feb(was in shared accommodation before this) or has this been abolished?

Yes you can if your under 55 its worth 300 odd per year!

I claimed it for a couple of years up in dublin when i was renting. Its handy to have it !
