Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Skerries 100 this weekend

    Skerries 100 is on this coming weekend

    Classic Parade - Thursday 30th June, Classic Parade lap of Skerries Town will go ahead this year on Thursday 30th June, although the event had been in doubt. It will follow its now traditional route through the town but will only be open to road legal bikes which are registered and insured.

    Skerries 100 - Friday 1st & Saturday 2nd July 2011. Full race programme 125cc, 250cc, 450cc, 400cc, Junior Support, Senior Support, Junior & Senior Classic, 600cc & Open class.

    Friday night is warm up, qualifying and normally 2 races.
    Saturday has a full race program.

    Great event, hope the weather keeps. I believe spectator points will be much more restricted this year due to incidents in previous years. Get along for a good day or evening out with the camera.

    = 1 for this event. Biggest racing event in Ireland with huge crowds lining the circuit.

    My dad was up at practise tonight and reckons that most of the course is roped off to spectarors. Maybe they were just protecting the fields for the night, but i think the new sponsors have got this wrong!!!

    They have limited the viewing areas big time. They r in the program showing where you can go. Not going to make it today unfortunately. Hope it all goes well without any major incidents.

    What a joke,Ive allways gone to the Skerries 100,this year was the worst for spectating.

    Someone fcuked this up big time this year.

    If this is how things are going to be from now on,they can keep the Skerries 100,as I wont be going anymore.

    They were hammered with Insurance restrictions. Didn't get down to it but got a program and was looking at the viewing areas they had in that.

    Killalane will be much the same this year also I would imagine.
