Water drip stains on Stainless Steel Twin Walled Flue

Hi all Please take a look at the pics attached. I have a dripping gutter (that I need to repair) that is dropping water onto my flue and leaving rust like stains that are proving very hard to remove. Any suggestions on what I would need to clear the stains? Thanks

Use this and ignore the readers suggestions (abrasives will scratch the metal)
