Bus Routes from City Centre

    Which bus do you take from Galway City Centre to get out to GMIT, it it good value, and would you recommend it to a student who is going to live with a few mates who are NUIGers in the City Centre? Please and thank you. :D

    the number 9 stops outside Gmit buses are fairly regular every 15 minutes i think and 1.65 each way. I think some of the other numbers go by too like the number 2 but i'm not definate

    its can be quite expensive they do a rate of about 35 a month.which is severe enuf...ul have to be gettin up an hour b4 class aswell 2 get bus..i would live over gmit side if i wer you

    It's walkable! Half an hour, which is faster than the bus most days...

    Number 9 - Parkmore bus.
    Theres more too. . but if you're going direct from eyre square out, this is the one to get.
    It's like €1.60 each way. . so €3.20 a day. . €16/week. (There's a weekly and monthly ticket you can get)

    However;

    I lived in town last year, and I used to walk.
    Half an hour each way certainly beats paying out like paying like 45quid a month. . I think thats what the monthly ticket works out as being.

    I used my money more wisely - on drink.
