First build and slightly lost

Hey, this is my first time making a pc, what iv picked out is based largely on what Iv read here and some advice from couple people. Hardwareversand pic attached. I need it to develop on and something to get me into PC gaming, so should be reasonable reasonable on the graphics front. (Toms hardware seems to rate the card ok)

Im a little under budget, and I think I may need to up the motherboard, also thinking of adding an SSD for the OS drive.

Also not to sure about monitors, just know I'v had good luck with samsung screens etc and 24" is a must for dev (until I can go dual).

Thats way overpriced for a 560 Ti. Get this one instead:

The P183 is a good case, but overpriced for what you get. The Fractal R3 is similar but much cheaper:

If you want to overclock I'd recommend a decent cooler like this one:

Thanks for the help deconduo, will take a look. Not looking at over-clocking just yet, enough of a task in building the thing without breaking it completely.

If you don't want to even consider it, then get an i5-2400 and a H67 motherboard instead. The advantage of the 2500K and the P67 board is that you can overclock it.

These days there's nothing dangerous about overclocking if you are a bit careful. It really is just a matter of changing a setting, run a few tests to make sure its stable, and then just forget about it and enjoy your extra performance for free.

Uh, don't get a keyboard from HWV, it'll be QWERTZ, rather than QWERTY, as they're a German company.

Also, I'm not entirely sure you need 750W for your PSU, would 650W (or less) not do?
