Increase in number of Irish language Pre-schools

    Just saw this article on Gaelport.com about the increase in the number of Naíonraí throughout the country.

    I was reading up on this immersion education model the Naíonraí use and some of the gaelscoileanna use where they don't use any English until the child has a grounding in the Irish. It's really interesting the benefits this model has to children's development. Apparently, they use it in loads of countries, like Wales, Canada and New Zealand.

    Most of the research conducted on Immersion Education has been carried out in Canada, and the Gaelscoileanna and Naíonraí are based on the Canadian model of language planning.
