Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

formatting fried hd

    formatting hd and it well stopped, didnt realise til the other day, now i cant detect it in mac or linux or win 7? any suggestions, just need to get it detected and wiped tbh, nothing on it of importance

    So you want noone to find what was on the HDD? If it's not repairable , then get a sledge hammer or blow torch to it and have fun.

    no its brand new, theres nothing on it, i want to use it again

    OP may want to re-use it. ;)

    Do you have a caddy you can put it in and hook it up to another pc via usb?

    damn, i was trying to format it to ext3 through macFUSE, could it really have fried it?
