    How do you post a picture on the threads??? I can do the links

    Read this thread (Q10) from this Forum.

    NOTE: You can't post pictures in all threads, After Hours for example don't allow it.

    Keep at it. It just takes trial and error. Took me a while as well to figure out how to get my Photobucket account to host pictures to Boards:rolleyes:. Try the different options on the message tool bar and always remember to preview the post prior to submitting it as this will show you whether the picture has been embedded or not.

    A URL is...look up at the top of your screen http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin......its the web address of the page your looking at so, look at this cat, his address is http://lolcat.com/images/lolcats/1338.jpg.

    My pictures are on my laptop and dont have anything like that number...:o:o:o (yes im hanging my head in shame)

    OOh, OK, that's different, I'm pretty sure you still have to upload them to one of the image hosting sites first, I found this guide.

    I've reported this thread so one of the mods here can move it to the newbie section for you and maybe Shield or Spear (mods there) have a better guide you can look at.

    Tried the imageshake thing aswell :mad:

    I own who ever can post a fool proof way of doing this ie. step by step, a drink :mad::mad:

    Essentially, it's just put the link in [noparse]+[/noparse].

    Make sure you've gotten the link right first, it should end in .jpg commonly, and not a /.

    Imageshack should provide prepared links as well once the pic is uploaded.
