Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi all,
Congrats on the results, its great to be finished and near the summer holidays.
I am just wondering what course people will be doing over the summer, I am doing a 2 day course in Scratch at the moment (which is FANTASTIC!) I know that the ICS will have another one in UL at the start of July, I saw it on www.scratch.ie (which has manuals and lesson plans free to download!!!)
I am also doing an on-line writing course, its called writing for TV, visual writing. It was the price that made up my mind!!! (€120.00 how bad?!)

So far its great!! I even have gotten great ideas for Drama and English from it.....but was wondering if anyone else had done it?Here is the link http://www.inkwellwriters.ie/Writing-TV-Treatments.html

    How did ye find it?
Or has any one here done a writing course?

Please do let me know what ye are up to over the holidays - learning wise.
    Thanks!

    Shel

We use Scratch with our exceptionally able groups, it's also widely used in CTYI. Are you looking for course recommendations?

Thanks for telling us about this. I will see if I can master it myself first!

It's not too difficult, we have been using it to programme things in a second-life type place. Even I managed it!!There's a manual you can print out on the site.

Like_it I have removed the link to your blog from your post. When you have enough posts for a signature (25) you may put a discreet link to it there. It's worth pointing out though that it's not a good idea to put up any information on a public website that identifies you.

    Hi,

Thank you for the advice, appriciated.

Thats grand, I dont mind about being public, I am on twitter, facebook fan page and lots and lots of other sites. I am a teacher but never talk about specific pupils I just talk about teaching ideas, how the kids liked them, writing, random stuff.

I am picky about what I say...so by being this way I can have a high on-line profile no prob's.
