How do you change/reinstall a display driver?

My laptop has been going crazy lately and an icon came up in the bottom right hand corner. Windows encountered a problem with a display driver and had to shut down. It had letters before the driver but before I could copy them the message bubble disappeared.

I would be grateful for the help thanks

Go to the website of the manufacturer of your laptop and see do they have updated drivers for your display.

Well they are official drivers and you probably can't make the computer worse by installing them. Yeah do accept, it won't put your computer on fire or anything :)
