Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

How to find a particular solicitor?

    Hi,

I have been asked to find a particular solicitor for work. They have been dealing with this guy for a couple of years but unfortunately he has been let go from the firm he was working in. When we contacted them they wouldn't give us his contact details, which is fair enough, but they won't pass on a message to him either.

Is there any way of finding this guy? I have done a google search but can't find him.

    Any help appreciated.

When most of us say "social justice" we mean equality under the law opposition to prejudice, discrimination and equal opportunities for all. When Social Justice Activists say "social justice" they mean an emphasis on group identity over the rights of the individual, a rejection of social liberalism, and the assumption that unequal outcomes are always evidence of structural inequalities.

I would expect the Law Society would know where he is working ( assuming he still practices ) but whether they would give out that information I can only guess.

there is a law directory with all solicitors listed in alphabetical order. All barristers are also listed, if they are members of the law library and wish to be listed. Most public libraries should have an up-to-date law directory.

If the guy has ceased practice, the Law Society might not have his contact details. The Law Directory generally doesn't have home addresses.

Sometime the Dept. of Social Protection (I *think* - it may be another dept.) will help in situations like this. They wrote to me a few months ago to pass on a message to contact a life assurance company that owed me money.
