OK, I think the tall ships threads are getting a bit messy. How about this one for live updates, it might help maintain some order?

personally, i prefer the separate threads because they are specific to a topic (or sub topic). For example, if all Im interested in is Web cams for the tall ships then I just want to read thread about that, I dont want to go through pages of a thread just called Tall Ships with loads of sub topics.

Yeah, we can start a separate thread on discussing the plethora of Tall Ships threads :D

I actually agree. It's only one weekend so let the forum be overrun with them for the next few days. At least that way everything is easily separated. It'll all be over by Monday.

The largest of the tall ships, the Russian Class 'A' vessel 'Mir' is currently off Dunmore East.

Looking at the marine traffic radar is getting me excited. So many ships in and on their way to the city. Should be great tomorrow, and the following days.

    When does the festival peak?

Typical. You would think people could leave it be for 1 weekend when we in Waterford have the rare chance to showcase our city and it's people to many nations.

There was a group set up on facebook to protest Ednas visit.

This is the best thing to hit Waterford since the last tall ships providing employment and improving morale. And a few narrow minded idiots who think that protesting the Taoiseachs visit will raise awareness of how bad things are when actually the city of Waterford is being advertised as a great place to visit.
