Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Ebay are a nightmare for that. It's a market that is chock full of fakes of all sorts of things. Watches are a huge area for this. Not just the less obvious frankenwatches that require an expert eye but all the way through recased pocket watches masquerading as important wristwatches to really crappy chinese rip offs that Stevie wonder would tell you were wrong uns. The antiquities market on ebay is even worse. I'd say a good 50% - and that's being generous - are complete fakes. In the case of "Roman" antiquities more like 80% are bogus. Now they will remove them, but having flagged a fair few of the latter in my time and watch genuine dealers chime in, it seems you need to create quite the stink to have dodgy items and dealers removed. Adverts.ie while a pain in the bum with some of the low ball eejits who lose the ability to read an ad is much better in that respect. We've had Eddie from there ask our take on items he thought dubious.

Rejoice in the awareness of feeling stupid, for that’s how you end up learning new things. If you’re not aware you’re stupid, you probably are.

That's hideous. You see better quality watches sold free with Deoderant :)

Yes, the finishing on the movement is not what I'd expect from UN
