Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I have been drinking Twinings and Barrys Green Tea but have got a bit tired of them. Does anyone know of a 'gourmet' green tea that tastes nice ( without it costing an arm and a leg)?

I quite like Twinings but I don't like Barry's Green Tea at all! I'd say give Clipper a try, easily my favourite anyway. It's available in Tesco and Holland and Barrett and isn't expensive, especially if you buy the larger pack.

I would have gotten into teas gradually over time, and I started with brands like Twinings as well and they are nice, but there's something about loose leaf tea. Once you start with it you'll never look back. I find the Sencha tea on www.houseoftea.ie to be very nice, not too bitter and a lovely fragrance, and you can brew the leaves a couple of times. Have a look about their green tea section, they have loads of different types. The Sencha is €5.90 for a 100g bag that will last you ages, and they have a green tea sampler selection also with all their different green tea products (€24, bit pricey but a lovely selection if you wanna try a few out).

    +1 Gunpowder Tea.
Also great with a good bit of fresh mint thrown in the pot and a bit of honey if you like it sweetened.

I'm a green tea fan, and lately I've just met Lily Chen, who owns her own Tea business called www.lilysteashop.com. Easily the best green tea I've had. It's a loose tea so you need an infuser or something to hold the leaf.
