Nuisance phone calls

Im receiving nuisance phone calls almost daily from a 01 Dublin number. When I pick up the phone all that can be heard is a beeping noise, I've tried ringing the number but it doesn't connect. I'm just wondering if anyone knows anything about this or is experiencing it also?

Have you tried calling Eircom with the number? It sounds like a fax machine is trying to connect to you.
