Im looking for a bike fitting specialist for my road bike. If i head out on the bike for over an hour or two tend to leave me with a really sore section in the top centre of my back. (kind of between the shoulder blades). I'm sure theres something up with my position on the bike.

Looking for someone in the South East, preferably Carlow or Kilkenny region (if there are any!). Would love to hear if anyone knows of one or has used one before?

The Docman, did my bike fitting a while back and I thought the bike was much better afterwards. He got me out of a large hole last night, otherwise I had no bike for Monday.

Sorry blaaman, forgot to reply to you on the bike fitting. But I think it's probably best now that i've had the new setup for a few weeks and can let you know how it's worked out for me.

He spent around an hour going through everything in great detail. Went through the position and angle of the seat, cleats, handlebars and how I actually ride the bike. (He pretty much covered everything on the bike!) Some really interesting information and observations from him, he changed some things by only a few mil and others by a bit more but everything he's done seems to have helped.

Hardly any back pain in the same area I had it before, think that was due to my seat being too high up. To be honest, for someone new to cycling I think getting a thorough bike fitting with someone experienced like him is more important than any piece of kit you can buy. (Next to the bike of course!) ;)

Docman comes highly recommended from me anyway! :)

Have to say that I got fitted to my last bike and my current new bike by aro13 and I am very happy with the results. A lot of members of Sportif Waterford Cycling Club have also been fitted by aro13 and the feedback is all good.
