    Morning all,

I have a 50meg internet package with Magnet entertainment. I have a Sweex LW050v2 802.11g wireless router and have a laptop and PS3 connected to it all within a 2 bedroom apartment.

When I do a speed test I get approx 19meg download and approx 10meg upload speed.

So my question is if I upgrade my router to a for example a Belkin Play Max N600 HD Wireless Dual-Band N+ Router
    http://http://www.belkin.com/uk/IWCatProductPage.process?Product_Id=509880

Would I also need N rated wireless adapters for the laptop and ps3 to see any improvement or would the current G rated modems be ok to use.

    Thanks

Every device would need to be "n" to achieve higher speeds.

I'd avoid Belkin like the plague, they make utter shíte networking products that give nothing but trouble. I recommend Linksys and Netgear.

Also read around a bit, a lot of reviews of 'n' standard equipment show disappointing performance in relation the claimed speeds etc.
