UPC Broadband outage Leopardstown area!

    Since Yesterday my Modem cannot get an IP address.

    I got in contact with UPC and they have told me in the mornring it is my PC.

    Two hours later when I told them that my Laptop is also not getting an IP address they told me there is an Outage in this area and it is fixed at lunch.

    It was not fixed at lunch so the next call to UPC revealed that it will be fixed a 5pm.

    In the meantime a friend with his laptop tried to connect and it failed.


    Does anybody else had problems with the UPC broadband lately?

    It somehow started with an incident about 2 weeks ago that I could not send OUTLOOK mail because it was bouncing back.
    UPC told me that my IP (the IP I get from UPC) is BLACKLISTED. I should wait and they will fix it. One week later the same happened.

    I really do not know what is going on here. :confused:
