    Hey all,

I have decided to start a betting log, have done a little bit of betting in the past but never kept track of my winnings and of course losses...

So my first bet is as follows

    Bet 1

Bray -v- Sligo Rovers (Away win @8/11)
Drogheda -v- Derry (Away win @2/5)
Galway -v- UCD (Away win @8/15)
Limerick -v- Mervue (Home win @1/4)
Shamrock -v- St Pats (Home win @1/1)

    Bet Type: Accumulator
    Amount Wagered: €5
    Amount Returned: €46.35 (€41.35 Profit)

So lets hope, Shamrock Rovers can win tomorrow...

Can anyone suggest ways to manage my bets and maybe any strategies to employ with my bets?

It depends, what'll you be betting on?
For a start,I wouldnt be recommending accumulators.

I mainly bet on football, but accumulators tend to be the only thing that offers any real value with the teams I back...

But I'm open to suggestions, because I know its possible to make money off the bookies if your smart about it

I really hope so, any chance of the game being streamed online or even on the TV?

Your accum consists of 5 matches, in the market you are betting on they're are 3 options; draw, home win or away win. If you reckon one of those matches offers value as in the price is bigger than it should be than just do a single on that one match. If you honestly think a 5 leg accum on LOI football offers anything resembling value than you'd better pack in the betting now tbh.

I didn't mean LOI accumulators, more football accumulators offer better value, I just did a LOI accumulator this weekend because it was the only real football on that I looked at and thought they games just fell right...

But some of the odds I got were stupid,Limerick@1/4...Mervue are a lot better than that like

A lot better at home, on the road they've lost all their matches since the 1st of April.

Yeah I know mate, but there were fairly good at times on Friday and Limerick were lucky enough to keep a clean sheet. There are a lot better than they were last season we I saw them

I've seen them twice this season, once in Fahys Fields were Shels struggled big time then again the other week in Tolka were we beat them 4-0 and it could have been a lot more. Just seems there home form doesn't transfer when they play away.

Yeah they also lost to Cork 3-0 the other week as well didn't they?

But its very hard to judge how good or bad a team from playing Limerick because we make hard work of games when it should be easier...like finishing the game with 6 defenders on the field against Mervue last Friday...Crazy
