Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

He has been on Irish TV alot recently, he was on with Tubs a few months back. He is probably the most interesting guest on the show tonight but I think we have heard it all before.

Yeah he was Mrs D.. Not sure what extra we have to learn from him...

And why does Miriam always look like she's arrived at a surpise party thrown for her..?

Just googled Mat Fraser there, he seems like an interesting man who hasn't let his disability hold him back. He might be an interesting guest :)

I'd say Alastair Campbell would make a very interesting dinner guest. He is an unusual character but I must admit there is something about him I find very intriguing.

Alastair Campbell is the inspiration for the magnificent Malcolm Tucker from "In The Thick of It".

They really should have a policy of not booking anyone who was on The Late Late Show or Brendan O'Connor in the previous year for Miriam's Show.

Mat Fraser could be interesting, he has had an interesting and varied life.

The rest of the line up is weak.

Given that Miriam actually "does" politics it might be a bit more interesting than Tubbs or the Corkonian.

    Hi everyone:)

She was on the Hills, was expecting more of an airhead but seems fairly down to earth.

I agree, bit of an odd booking, although she seemed pleasant enough.

Wonder how the conversation in the Green Room went between Whitney and Alistair Campbell,

Thought it might be just me but the wife noticed too.

Miriam is over rated IMO, if it wasn't for her husband she probably would not have this show.

I don't agree, to be honest.

She's a good broadcaster, always does a good show with what she's given, although she's much better doing Current Affairs.

Two min conversation with Whitney Port was more Expose than rte big sat night show.

    Shut up Eddie Hobbs!!!!!!

IMO she is a female version of Pat Kenny. Pat got a lot of stick while he was presenting the LLS because he found light entertainment a bit of a challenge but he was great at everything else, Tubs can't even get the basics right.

I think she tries to overcompensate from her Primetime persona when she's fronting this show. Somebody should have a word in her ear, tell her to stop being so nicey-nice.

Still, she's a fine looking woman for somebody in her 50's after having 8 kids

she is not the only woman in the world to have kids.

she also has make up artists to make her look good.

anyone get the impression I don't like her ?

That's why I cannot watch rte anymore, useless presenters, mundane guests and the same theme rehashed week after week, how they could take a lesson from Graham Norton or the BBC absolutely streets ahead on content and entertainment value.

Whitney Port designed a bag which is being sold at the kildare outlet village and the procedes are going to barretstown and in short its a very worthy cause, Eddie hobbs rules full stop! And the girl thats currently on sounds interesting and bringing epilepsy to the fore !

Ah Mrs D, you're splitting hairs. She's not in her 40's anymore so therefore she has to be in her 50's. ;)
Anyway, it makes her look even more impressive to think that she's now a quinquagenarian :D
