Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Pionner sx-550 Amp trouble

I've been using an sx-550 for the last few years with absolutely no trouble. The thing has been a joy. Fantastic sound. I usually have my laptop connected up to it. This afternoon I brought it downstairs for a party, set it up, but the sound out of the speakers was crackily and distorted. Next thing, smoke starts rising…

I've been using an sx-550 for the last few years with absolutely no trouble. The thing has been a joy. Fantastic sound. I usually have my laptop connected up to it.

This afternoon I brought it downstairs for a party, set it up, but the sound out of the speakers was crackily and distorted. Next thing, smoke starts rising out of the grill around where the power goes in.

Any ideas? The fuse is perfect. The unit still lights up when powered on.
