Firefox 3.618 Multiple Boards.ie Tabs

    Since yesterday when I open firefox 2 boards.ie tabs open up and every time I restart firefox. At times there can be 5 or 6 boards tabs open. I've:-

    Cleared cookies/history
    Ran CCleaner
    Ran Glary Utilities
    Re-booted

    Tried Firefox help listed here http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/...20or%20windows

    and still no joy. System Restore is my next step but just curious as to whats the cause of it.frown.gif

    The other day because of google's black toolbar I made yahoo.ie my home page and on a long shot just now I decided to change back to google and hey prestoo no more multiple boards tabs, strange or what. :D

    Why are you running Firefox 3.6, 5.0 is the latest, and 4 won't be supported for much longer. Is 3.6 even supported?

    I tend to wait for bugs to be ironed out before I upgrade, I think 5 is still only in beta at the moment so might wait a bit.

    5 has been released a few weeks ago, it's no longer in beta and 4 has been out for months. They are faster and I don't see any issues with them.

    You might have simply set multiple home pages. You can use | between urls in the settings menu. You can inadvertently set them by selecting "Use current pages".
