Album launch for "Push Buttons"

Modern Skins is an ongoing project between 3 close childhood friends that has been both on and off for the last 10 years but will never break up.

All Dubliners; Ross McKiernan, Niall Jackson and Declan Gildea started off acoustically before recruiting a 4th member and fulltime drummer in Steve McCann in 2009. Leading to a more rock n' roll feel.

Having begun to record their vast collection of material for the first time in 2010, ranging from indie, blues,pop, to old school rock n' roll, they are finally ready to launch their debut album this July.

The debut album "Push Buttons" was recorded and mixed by Shane Cullen in his K9 Studio's in Deansgrange and was mastered by the illustrious Ronan McHugh (Thin Lizzy)

Each of Modern Skins laments the loss of the independent record store as we know it.
