The euro rate might kill this, but lunn's in Belfast are offering to pay the vat on purchases today (excluding Rolex)

You could prob negotiate close to 20% off on a normal day off most of the brands from rrp. I assume there will be no discounts today!

Nice Seiko Solar Chrono on Massdrop for €160 delivered. €190 on creation you may get caught for customs though. Reason not buying ordered a garmin 910xt on amazon lightning deals last week!

Strange one that. I hope the guy hasn't hit hard times. Seems like a very well thought out collection. I'm going to stay positive and say the sale is to fund his Grail :)

Looks like the Lizardking is now offloading his dive watch haul - the Certina is up for a cheeky €550; given how much he paid!

Let me know if you're selling the hydroconquest;)

Ha ha. I actually only bought the collection for the Hydroconquest and the Sumo but they all had to be sold together. Smashing watch though. If you can pick up that version for reasonable money do. They're discontinued now and they've reverted back to the old 12, 6, 9 dial. Not a fan of the polished centre links on that one.

Did anyone see the rolex on antiques roadshow a few weeks back? Lot 129, in case anyone still has room in the xmas stocking.

Crazy money but then that's where the market appears to be.

Just pulled the trigger on a close relation of the one I posted above. Bought a Japanese domestic market model that I've been eyeballing for the past few weeks...

I've bought 4 watches from them...a Seiko 5 auto, Seiko kinetic, a present of a G-Shock Mudman and most recently a tag heuer aquaracer (most extravagant watch I've bought). No problems with any of them. Got them fast delivery within a week by DHL in each case so was stung by customs each time but was still much better value than the high street. The thing to note though is that they are a grey market seller so you won't get the benefit of the manufacturers warranty despite what they might suggest on site. The g-shock came with its casio box and instructions, same with the tag but the Seiko's came in a standard watch box which I knew upfront but didn't bother me. you can play for a Seiko branded box if say its gift. They did stamp the warranty card for the tag but I don't really think that means anything. in saying that, if I thought a watch was in danger of breaking down, why would I buy it. never the less if I was unlucky, the amount I saved (which was a lot) would probably fix it anyway so was worth a punt.....

I defo think they are worth a look if you are happy to buy on line. They seem to be well known and there don't seem to be any strong suggestions of selling fakes. the question does come up alright if you google but I'm happy with anything I've received.

If your tag warranty card is stamped and dated from an AD ( I assume creation didn't stamp themselves?) then you have full warranty as per if you bought it in weirs in Dublin.

I'm pretty sure it's creation watches own stamp.was just a basic cw stamp with he date filled in.I doubt very much they are an authorised dealer so as I've said before, not worth anything. But it cost about 600 less than AD here including assumed 10% discount so it's hard to argue with those figures when no reason to think it's not a genuine tag....

Most likely they are matching the AD manufacturer warranty of 2 years (I think it's two) for the watch. Same protection but you can't walk into any AD for repair work.

In my experience even with an ad warranty one is normally asked to cover an admin/courier fee of the watch is from a different ad chain. Same thing (or more expensive ) as organising a courier yourself.

use the regular mail option not the dhl option
its quicker (cos customs don't delay it)

The stowa on TZ is starting to look like value as the price drops! I'd snap it but at 35mm diameter I know I'd be disappointed.
