    Hello all,

this isn't a big problem but it's very, very strange.

Our newborn feeds really well (breastfed).
She usually keeps everything down as well.
Except for on Sundays. Regular as clockwork she vomits a large amount on s Sunday evening at around 19:00.
She doesn't get upset about it and just carries on as normal afterwards.

    It's just plain weird......any ideas?

Perhaps something is being eaten on the Saturday night or Sunday morning that is finding its way into the breast milk and upsetting baby's tummy?

Was thinking that but can't narrow it down to anything. Going to start up a food diary and see if that turns anything up.

get it checked out for sure and be very pushy dont just settle for one persons opinion,. get 4 or 5 different perspectives,.. if the vomitting becomes more regular, i.e. happens more often then there could be something wrong and you need to find out whats causing it,. Its probably nothing but if it gets more frequent maybe go to see an eye specialist aswell as they can spot things that doctors wouldnt!

    Hope that helps!

The exact timing is a bit odd alright! My wee fella used to puke a fair bit too, the only thing that bothered me was the ingratitude! He puked more when he was teething, could it be that? Is her routine different on a Sunday? Sometimes that can upset them.

Genuinely her routine doesn't see to be a factor. just can't figure it out.
Like I say, I don't think it's a major concern...she feed well and she's gaining wait at a good rate.
