Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Cycling out of Killarney after the ROK event yesterday I saw a frame on a bike rack on the back of a car and I fell in love with it: it was a Cannondale road bike frame primarily orange with some yellow. I got stuck behind a lorry turning so couldn't make it to ask the driver where he got it from. But I want it!

Scanned the Cannondale website and did a few web searches but couldn't find it - any ideas on how to track it down? Wouldn't plan on buying it immediately but it'd certainly be top of the wish list should I unexpectedly come into a mountain of cash :D

It could be an import. SO try some of the Australian sites etc. I know specalized have some different colurs on that side of the world.

Are you sure it was orange/yellow and not red/yellow?

    Anyway, how about this...

Thanks Lumen, it's either that one or very close to it - looked a lot better in the shining sun. Had a look at that PinkBike.com site but couldn't find that photo - did it have a thread with info on the model/availability by any chance?

Could very well be this one. I took this photo after the Vee Challange today. The owner wore a jersey from a Cork cycling club.

Thanks for the pics, it's hard to tell - I think that may be the frame design I was looking for, but the one I saw was entirely yellow and orange (e.g. handlebar tape) so it looked a lot better than those photos, even though the bikes in the photos are very nice themselves.

so where can you get it?

Have the same bike(frame), the R600.

Got it in the states about 12 or 13 years ago. Mine isn't in as good shape as those ones pictured tho, really makes me want to do it up now.

Or sell it? What size is it? I'm in the market for a winter bike at the moment.

Well its my winter bike now, and its a 58inch.

The only pic I have of it on my phone is this one, from Wicklow Adventure race last year.

It was $2000 at the time I think, it was a long time ago and I can't remember exactly, at the current rate of depreciation over 13 years, I would have to pay you to take the bike away.;)

I think its worth more to me to keep it than sell it.

Too big for me but still a lovely big IMO. Look after it and enjoy it.
