    There is usually a mix of people that have been before and people who are there for the first time. A few know each other outside of boards meets, sometimes because of boards.

    I've made it to two of them so far, had great craic. Very laid back.

    O' Connell's seems to be pretty settled upon so is it?
    Has a date been set yet?
    Perhaps change the title of the thread to include the date and location (so I don't have to go searching through, I'm a lazy git!:pac:)

    hi!!! im new to this and would like to go to one of the meetups!! fri 22nd would suit me or some of the other dates might too (il know nearer the time). what general age group go to these????

    Any of the beers I've been at have had people aged 18-50+, so ya never know what ye gonna get :pac: :)

    Let's just say O'Connell's and get that part done with.
    Dates have been put up in a poll.

    Note that After Hours forum is planning a Beers in Galway around this time too.

    Update: the AH Beer will be in O'Connells and the date is August 13th so our beers won't clash with theirs.

    I voted for Saturday 6th August-a week before the AH beers.It would be a good way of meeting fellow Galway boardsies and give those who are going to the AH beers the following week a familiar face or two to chat to during the initial awkwardness :P

    6th August currently in lead.
    If by tomorrow Friday 22 or Saturday 23 will not have overtaken August I will rule them out so we can focus on later dates.

    I had voted for tomorrow night as the meet up, but I'm after discovering a silent disco will be on in the big top tomorrow night, so might go get mangled and head that direction..hehe!
    As of next week I'll be working until 11pm Friday nights, so the 6th August meetup that's currently leading the poll would do me nicely as an alternative.
